CPR A, B, C, OR HCP (All will include the use of an AED)
CPR A - 4 hours - this covers the skill needed to recognize and
respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for adults (8 and
over)
CPR B - 5 hours - intended for families, parents, and health care
professionals. This will cover the skills needed to recognize and
respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking in adults,
children and babies.
CPR C - 6 hours - This is intended for police, firefighters, First
responders, lifeguards and workplace First aid teams. Covers all
level A material expanded to include Children and babies. Includes two rescuer adult/child CPR.
Level HCP - for nurses, doctors, paramedics and Allied Healthcare
providers. This covers all level C material plus 2 person baby CPR,
and use of the BVM (Bag-Valve-Mask), pulse check, and jaw thrust.
Level E - Stand alone CPR only for individuals or groups with
special needs. This is a non-certification
course, adapted from Level A, for information only.
